About H3 Harm, Healing, Hope
H3's mission and values align closely with the goals of pre-college STEAMM education, mainly in promoting inclusivity, collaboration, and long-term community sustainability. As a coalition of organizations, businesses, and individuals in Champaign County dedicated to ending community violence, H3 focuses on addressing the multifaceted issues of violence, poverty, and injustice, especially within BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) communities. H3 supports grassroots, relationship-based capacity building to help overcome barriers to growth. Through collaboration and information sharing, H3 works to enhance each member’s impact, creating a foundation for future success. By partnering with and promoting STEAMM programs, H3 can help foster these same values, empowering students from underserved communities, promoting problem solving, and supporting sustainable pathways for families and individuals locally.
