The Illinois Center for Family and Community Engaged STEAMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math, and Medicine), also known as the Illinois FACES Center, provides a centralized resource for accessing rich and diverse pre-college STEAMM content and activities for students and families, K-12 educators, and youth-serving community organizations.

Grainger College Application Workshop
The Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering (WYSE) Program and the Women in Engineering (WIE) Program and is hosting a workshop designed for current high school seniors interested in pursuing engineering to learn how to craft compelling and authentic college application essays. Workshop is led by Professor Yuting W. Chen.

Lesson Planning with Entreprenuerial Mindset and Human Centered Design in Mind
Learn how to develop stronger STEAMM education lessons by applying concepts of Human Centered Design and Entrepreneurial Mindset. This workshop is a requirement for engineering James Scholar students with a CEES HCLA. Pizza provided for those attending in-person.
