About STEAM Genius/Street College
STEAM Genius/Street College offers a host of programs and services for underserved youth and young adults in Champaign County. We identify specific "cool factor" engagement methods, show up in underserved spaces, and spark youth's curiosity, providing an entry point to offer additional STEM and STEAM educational opportunities.
Straight from the Hip Hop Xpress Double Dutch Boom Bus, students can receive a demonstration of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math concepts plus music to harness creativity and explore their cultural wealth. The staff support youth and young adults to witness their genius and explore future possibilities.
