About Illinois Quantum Information Science and Technology Center (IQUIST)
IQUIST’s mission is to advance quantum technology and train a quantum-ready workforce through collaborative, cross-disciplinary research programs. IQUIST partners with a number of local schools and sometimes museums and libraries and registered student organizations, to educate students and the general public about quantum information science and related technologies in STEM related workshops and events. IQUIST members are UIUC faculty in a number of different disciplines including physics, electrical engineering, mathematics, materials science and engineering, chemistry, computer science, and philosophy. This provides a means for cross-disciplinary collaboration in a number of ways.
